6. Spain's Juan Carlos I Aircraft Carrier

The Juan Carlos I is a multirole amphibious assault aircraft-carrier named for King Juan Carlos I of Spain, who ruled from 1975 to 2014. It is equipped with the same weapons as other aircraft carriers, such as an AV-8B Harrier II fighter jet and a STOVL operating ski jump. 2009 saw the launch of Juan Carlos I, which was put into service a year later.

Juan Carlos I can carry the Sea King, NH-90, and Chinook aircraft in addition to the Harrier II. It is equipped with BPDMS missiles, 20mm cannons, and 12.7mm machine guns.
