15. USA's Enhanced Los Angeles Class Submarine

The Seawolf class of submarines is taking on the role of the outdated Los Angeles class. There are sixty-two of these submarines that have been completed to date, and each unit costs $1.59 billion. 29 are retired, while 33 are still working. General Dynamics and Newport News are making some changes to the 33 operational submarines.
